As we all know, Pere and Maria were an “item” while Maria Chike Benjamin was still in the house. They were almost inseparable and they looked good together
Even though Pere and Maria’s relationship was plagued with a lot of ups and downs with a side dish of toxicity, they always found their way back to each other.
It’s no secret that Pere has been feeling down since Maria left the big brother naija house. It has even been hard for him to move on to another lady in the house, so he talked about this with Cross.

Pere told Cross, I know you liked Maria and Cross said yes, I spoke with Maria and she gave me a NO as an answer.
Cross went on to say that, Maria a big girl and has met big gallants, I moved on fast because I’m 31 yrs and not ready to waste my time on things like this.
Cross also told Pere that there’s nothing like real love in the house, everyone here in a situationship in the house is running each other street.
Pere as man as he is said he loves Maria and whatever he said to her was real. I was real with Maria and still likes her a lot but I don’t know for her, unless I move out from here. He went on to say that even tho Maria said No, he went ahead pushing for a yes until he accepted his faith.
So he’s waiting to go out first and see what’s happening before any further decision.
To me, Pere should moved on, cos Maria has said that there’s not going to be anything relationship except friendship. Hmm Pere be strong and move on.
