Opening Remarks
Did White money finally confront Pere? Well that is the question we are about to answer in this article. So sit down, take up your chilled drink and popcorn as I narate the conversation Whitemoney has with his fellow housemates.
SCENE 1
White money: Just 2 days since Pere banned me from the kitchen. Food scares, I haven’t eaten, you haven’t eaten. I really want to cook but I just decided to stay away and see if food will arrive
Micheal: Right
SCENE 2
White Money: I don talk am say if I wait wait wait and food no arrive and don talk am say I go just call some guys and cook rice for them because stew dey inside fridge and even if stew no dey, we go do am the street way
Micheal: Yess
SCENE 3
White Money: Pere thinks that it’s a strategy for me which I have to talk to him about because he is speculating it to people and he is putting it in other people’s heads and it doesn’t make science
Micheal: Nods head
SCENE 4
White Money: I really need to talk about it with Pere. Cooking is what I love to do, I was brought up in this way, I love to cook, I love to clean. I do it effortlessly and now, he took it completely away from me because he has something against me
Micheal: Nods head
SCENE 5
White Money: Pere took cooking away from me totally and put it in the hands of someone else for no reason. This is what I love to do, so if you don’t have something terrible in mind against me, he would have done this in a better and more respectful way
Micheal: Nods head
SCENE 6
White Money: If not that you have something bad against me, you would have just called me aside privately and tell me like “yo, I want you to relax, but still be helping out please” because Pere has also enjoyed from by sacrifices as the main chef in this house
Micheal: Nods head
SCENE 7
White Money: Pere should have accorded me that respect and called me aside to tell me to relax from the cooking job because he himself knows what Pere eats and what he doesn’t eat and he makes sure that he cooks them for him separately in the house. So, why did he have to treat me that way
Micheal: Nods head
SCENE 8
White Money: I bet you that Pere, since he came to this house has never been hungry before but today, he is hungry. Everybody is hungry, he hasn’t eaten, I haven’t eaten, nobody has eaten
Micheal: Yes everybody is hungry my guy. Abeg I dey come
(Micheal walks away from White Money)
Closing Remarks
What Idara thinks: Well, as for me, White Money’s reaction is very reasonable. He is upset, not really because Pere decided to remove him from his cooking duties but mainly because of the way they went about it.
White money stating that Pere could have called him aside to tell him privately to step away from the kitchen makes sense to me
Also, I hope that he actually called Pere privately to vent about how what Pere did to him makes him feel.
